Showtime Circus have a fully portable set up, the students at your school, group or dance school can have a taste of learning aerial skills such as aerial hoop and aerial silks as well as all floor based skills such as juggling, hula hooping and acrobatics. With many years of performance and teaching experience, DBS checks, First Aid Certificates and insurance, we can assure that we will create a fun and safe environment for children to learn everything there is to know about the circus.
Dancers & Gymnasts tend to pick up aerial, acrobatics and circus skills really fast and so will learn a lot from even just a one day workshop. Each Showtime Circus Dance Workshop teacher, has experience in choreographing for competitions and shows, whether you’d like to book us for a one off workshop, or a few regular workshops, to choreograph a special number in a show or to add acrobatic elements to competition dances etc, then please do get in touch to see what we can arrange for you and your group.
THEMED WORKSHOPS
We can offer a School Package which can be themed entirely on a certain subject or book. 3 extremely talented and experienced teachers will attend and perform a circus show which incorporates your message or theme. We have performed a bespoke “Biscuit Bear“ show for Reception students and can also offer our “Caring Sharing Circus” audition show. We have toured around Primary school across London and the surrounding counties, delivering our 3 person full circus workshops, culminating in a 20 minute show, which of course will include all of the children.
AERIAL HOOP/SILKS
The beautiful art of forming shapes with your body, while suspended from height, either on a hoop, rope, or silks.
ACROBATICS
The performance of extraordinary human feats of balance, agility and motor co-ordination.
JUGGLING
An amazing skill which uses advanced hand-eye co-ordination.
Jessica taught for Mini Professionals Dance Academy on a regular basis, with the classes being professional, organised, inspiring and energetic. In the short time Jessica was with us she managed to inspire so many of our students who still talk of all the wonderful skills they learnt through her teaching.
